Welocome to Maison de Bruce a classically elegant property situated in the exclusive West End of Edinburgh`s world famous historic New Town.Princess Street is only 2 minutes walk, which is overlooked by Edinburgh Castle  and the Waverly and Haymarket train stations are near by and there is a stop very close for the Airport bus as well as St Andrew`s  bus station which is about 10 minutes walk away.

We are close to many excellent cafe`s, restaurants, cocktail bars as well as the Usher Hall and Edinburgh Film House, The Royal Lyceum Theatre are all with walking distance.

The property has had many famous owners in the past including Thomas Nelson publisher and co-founder of Bartholomew Maps. It was the birth place of the famous Scottish writer Naiomi Mitchison and in more recent times (1988)  there was a visit by the Queen when the rooms were owned by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.

Currently the property has been converted to provide good quality bed and breakfast accommodation and is managed by the owners Alan Renfrew and Margaret Bruce with friendly enthusiasm.
